The Manchester Inn was built in 1922 by several community business leaders who saw the need for a first class hotel to serve Middletown and the surrounding area. Over the years, this stately building has been known by several names—Manchester Hotel, Hotel Manchester, Manchester Motor Inn, The Manchester. In 1985, the name chaged to The Manchester Inn and in 1993 to The Manchester Inn and Conference Center.
